on a trip to the United Arab Emirates where they will conduct a series of clinics from March 24-26. The goal of Monumental Sports Global Academies is to educate communities throughout the world through sports participation. ESM (East Sports Management) the leading provider of professional sports academies in the Middle East, will be our partner for the trip and assist in implementing the clinics.
Each clinic will be open to players ages 8-18 years old as well as coaches. Prior to the start of each session, Mystics coaches and players will lead a discussion on the importance of health and wellness. The clinics will take place in Abu Dhabi on March 24
at the New York University Sports Facility and the final session will be in Dubai on March 26th at the brand new state of the art GEMS Nations Academy.

A three-time WNBA Coach of the Year, Thibault is the winningest coach in league history and has led the Mystics basketball operations since 2013. That year, he added Latta to the roster and she went on to earn consecutive All-Star honors. Thomas recently signed with the Mystics while Eric Thibault has helped lead the Mystics to three consecutive playoff appearances.
This past fall, Washington Capitals alum Peter Bondra served as a coach for the Pavlikovsky Hockey School program at the Zayed Sports Ice Rink in Abu Dhabi. Following his visit, Fatima Al Ali of Dubai was invited to come to Washington, D.C. to participate in a host of events.
